The purpose of this study was to investigate the contribution of technical vocabulary & general vocabulary to ESP reading comprehension. In this study 2 groups of BA students were selected majoring English translation and Nursing fields of study. These students were divided into two equal groups. Both groups received a first test including 60 multiple choice items, 30 general vocabulary items from a TOEFL test and 30 technical vocabulary items in nursing sciences to make sure that the students in English translation had better general vocabulary & students in nursing sciences had better technical vocabulary, and a second test including 30 ESP reading comprehension items from MA entrance examination of universities to capture the probable differences between the effect of technical vocabulary & general vocabulary to ESP reading comprehension. Then, with the help of T.Test the data were computed. The result rejected the null hypothesis and indicated that the difficulties which ESP students encounter in their reading comprehension arise not so much from lack of technical vocabulary knowledge but from lack of general vocabulary knowledge. The findings of the present study can have theoretical as well as pedagogical implications for teachers, students, and syllabus designers.

This paper aims at improving quantitative measures of emphysema in computed tomography images of lungs. Pulmonary Emphysema is a chronic obstructive lung disease which is characterized by limitation of air flow. Detection and Quantification of emphysema is important, since it is the main cause of shortness of breath and disability in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. Current standard measures like Relative Area method rely on a single intensity threshold on individual pixels, ignoring any interrelations between pixels. HRCT is a sensitive method for diagnosing emphysema, assessing its severity, and determining its subtype. In this project texture based classification system is used. A study is \nperformed by choosing Local binary Pattern (LBP) as texture feature and classification is performed using KNN classifier. Classification accuracy and quantification shows that KNN classifier performs better when LBP is used as texture feature in determining Pulmonary Emphysema.

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are susceptible to various attacks as they are placed in hostile environments. Several security and authentication mechanisms are proposed for in terms of key exchange mechanisms, handshake protocols, and other routing protocols. The proposed triple key based broadcast authentication protocol is compared with the several other existing security schemes in WSN. The proposed triple key based broadcast authentication scheme works upon TESLA (Timed Efficient Stream Loss-tolerant Authentication) protocol and ECDH (Elliptic Curve Diffie-Hellman) key agreement scheme. The proposed WSN authentication performs better compared to other security schemes, in terms of accuracy, detection of attacks, resiliency, memory consumption, nodal detection, and average of total transmission energy consumed per node.

Trail and punishment of the head of states that commit international crimes were faced with many impairs\nand problems. Among these, the most important legal impair is criminal immunity. The history has shown that these\naccused have generally had s sufficient immunity and not ever s submit to justice. Nullification of the criminal\nimmunity of the head of states is necessary because of matters including public international order, international\npeace and security, domestic international order, prevention of non-punishment of the criminals and deterrence so\nthat prevent of non-punishment of the criminals. Effective implementation of prosecution and trail of the head of the\nstates and nullification of their immunity deals with some impairs, constrains, costs and challenges. Among these\nimpairs are the non-existence of necessary and suitable statutes, non-willing of states and marshaling evidence.\nThese impairs should be identified and rectifies by states. This paper is designed in two parts. The first one deals\nwith necessities of nullification of the criminal immunity and the second part analysis the impairs and constrains of\npunishment of the head of states.

The purpose of this study was review the existing literature on coaches’ sources of knowledge in various sports. The review highlighted coaches’ knowledge is built from a broad range of sources. It is influenced by a complex mix of formal, non-formal, informal directed and self-directed learning experiences. However, this developmental mix for coaches is largely individualized and ad hoc. While the literature suggests the balance tends to be toward informal learning, the optimal mix of learning experiences needs to be addressed. In this respect, the researches available on coaching knowledge are limited by a tendency to focus on expert or elite coaching practitioners. This group of coaches has been shown to favor self-directed learning and therefore engage in activities to match.

Iranian people were hopeful to have the activities and systematic economical, social and political relations in constitutional revolution by forming the versed in law/law abiding administration and their participation in administering/managing the society affairs. A look in the achievements of the constitutional revolution in stabilizing the political administration and beginning the rule of Reza Shah indicated that the formation of political power in Iran is the result of fundamental elements and the politico-economical conditions of the society. The worlds’ economical system was not ineffective on the formation trend of political, social and economical currents of Iran. The worlds’ economical system caused the Old Iranian economy could not move towards self-sufficient, inborn, dynamic and stable economy. This should be noticed that formation and continuance of one way management is a multidimensional phenomenon under internal effective factors more than that of resulting from external factors. The results obtained from this article indicate that the political structure of Iran during Ghagar period that was under the influence of social rifts and interferences (including the religious, population and racial inequalities etc) on one hand and the simple tribal structure on the other hand, prevented the formation of foundations/institutions and desired political structure. The political culture that resulted from this political and social structure didn’t provide the opportunity to activate the society in the political activities.

To investigate the effect of substrate on some parameters of ornamental plant experiment Atlas of Iran 2011-2012 in greenhouse located at Km 10 North Road Zahedan - Khash in a factorial randomized complete block design with 5 replications. Factors examined include various levels of zeolite and vermicompost (0, 5 and 10 percent).Iranian petunia seeds in pots and grown to flowering stage was studied in the liter. The results showed that the chlorophyll A content increased with increasing zeolite has a direct relationship. Chlorophyll B in 5% zeolite shows the highest. Effect of zeolite shows the main elements of K and N decreases with increasing zeolite . The amount of phosphorus in the root level and the highest 10 % of the lowest value indicates the level of 5 % . The study showed that nitrogen and phosphorous and 10 % at the highest level and was not significantly different at 0 and 5 % .But at 5% potassium zeolite showed the highest values .Chlorophyll A in the 10 % highest and 5 % lowest level displays . However, chlorophyll B decreases with increasing levels of vermicompost. The amount of N and P in roots increased with increasing levels of vermicompost . , But the rate of increase in K indicates the amount of vermicompost element has an inverse relationship . Vermicompost on shoot N concentration element has an inverse effect .P values of 5 % and a maximum of vermicompost at 5% level represents the lowest. Final results showed that compared with zeolite , vermicompost effect on the economic growth factors and is more affordable .

Compression of large collections of data can lead to improvements in retrieval times by offsetting the CPU decompression costs with the cost of seeking and retrieving data from disk. In this paper, the author has study the different compression method which can compress the large DNA sequence. In this paper, authors have explored the DNA compression method that is COMRAD, which is used to compare with the dictionary based compression method i.e. LZ77, LZ78, LZW and general purpose compression method RAY. In this, authors have analyzed which one algorithm is better to compress the large collection of the DNA Sequence. Compression table and the line graph show that which compression algorithm has a better compression ratio and the compression size. It also shows that which one has better compression and decompression time.

Rapid improvement of electronic documents in World Wide Web has made overload to the users in accessing the information. Therefore, abstracting the primary content from numerous documents related to same topic is highly essential. Summarization of multiple documents helps in valuable decision-making in less time. This paper proposed a framework named Adept Multi-Document Summarization (AMDS) for efficient summarization of document, which achieves the aforementioned requirement. Here, the documents are preprocessed initially to remove the information that is less important. Summary of each preprocessed document is obtained through the sentence extraction process. Single document summarization is carried out based on graph model. A ranking method named Ingenious Ranking (IR) is proposed to rank and order the extracted single document summaries. It ranks the sentences in the generated summaries of each document and incorporates the individual summaries to generate a concise summary. Empirical results presented in this paper demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed AMDS framework.

Regression testing is a re-testing technique to test the changes, which is taken in the modified or enhanced application to ensure that the changes do not impairment the accessible behavior of the application. Modifications in the applications mainly focus on three types namely binding, process and interfaces. In order to accomplish the regression testing for a modified portion of an application, test cases are selected from a test suite. Selection, generation and prioritization of the test cases are more important and also it is a tough process in regression testing. In this article, we proposed a technique to automatically generate the test cases for testing the changes of various versions of BPEL (Business Process Execution Language) dataset. We construct a hierarchical test tree (HTT) for both the new and old versions composite services that are modified for an application and also for the unmodified. The changes are tracked by analyzing the control flow of both trees constructed above using the BPEL dataset. Test Case Prioritization Algorithm (TCPA), which uses multiple criteria are used to prioritize the tests cases. We analyzed the performance of the proposed technique and the experimental results showed that our method performs well than the earlier techniques.

Neural networks are a computational paradigm model of the human brain that has become popular in recent years. We have tried to address the problem of Glioma by creating a more accurate classifier which can act as an expert assistant to medical practitioners. Brain stem gliomas are now recognized as a heterogenous group of tumors. In this paper, proposed a prediction of Glioma in MR images using weight optimized neural network. Magnetic Resonance (MR) images are affected by rician noise which limits the accuracy of any quantitative measurements from the data. A recently proposed filter for rician noise removal is analyzed and adapted to reduce this noise in MR images. This parametric filter, named Non-Local Means (NLM), is highly dependent on setting its parameters. Experimental results reveal the efficacy of the adduced methodology as compared to the related work.
