This study investigates the factors that influence students\' behavioral intentions towards applying Mobile Learning Devices such as smartphones, tablets, and other portable computing devices in higher educational institutions in developing countries. This study adopted the three (3) key variables of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), thus perceived usefulness, self-efficacy, and gratification to understand how these variables predict students’ behavioral intentions towards the use of Mobile Learning Devices. A set online questionnaire survey was used to collect the needed data from (N=1030) students in three universities in Lima, Peru. The researchers conducted data analysis and presentation of findings by testing the suggested research model and the hypotheses through structural equation modeling. Regression analysis was carried out with SmartPLS to assess the path coefficient of the data collected for the model. Our findings suggest that two of the key variables tested, thus self-efficacy and perceived usefulness of Mobile Learning Devices, positively influenced students\' gratification and were statistically significant. However, two out of the three of the determinant variables of perceived usefulness (information seeking, and social connections) all had positive relations with students\' perceptions of gratification, and behavioral intentions towards mobile learning devices. The theoretical and practical implications of this study are discussed.

NOOR 1 is one of among various solar thermal power plants with parabolic troughs that have been developed in the world. The performance of this plant was studied, after its three years of operation, basing on the industrial data. This performance was analyzed by considering, electricity production, total water consumption and the cleanliness of the solar field. The average amount of electricity generated by the NOOR 1 power plant in 2018 is around 41GWh. This production was improved by 3% compared to the year where the plant was started up. The analysis of the total water consumption shows that the average water consumption has been reduced by 15% compared to 2016 and 2017. The proportionality factor between electricity production and water consumption decreased from 3.5, in 2016 to 3 in 2018, indicating that this consumption of the plant is optimal, for this year. To guarantee a good efficiency of the solar installation, an appropriate cleaning method is applied frequently, to clean the mirrors. The control analysis showed an average value of the cleanliness factor of 96%, ensuring the cleanliness of the solar field of the power station studied. The installation of CSP plant in the sunniest region in the south of Morocco has avoided CO2 emissions estimated at 280,000 t / year.

Abstract\nAim: This study aimed to examine the attitudes of Turkish nurses towards elder abuse and neglect and related factors.\nBackground: Elder abuse is a universal phenomenon, although it changes according to time and social structure. Nurses need to recognize elders abused and neglected and to take initiatives for them.\nMethods: In this cross-sectional and correlational study, we collected the data using an online questionnaire from 104 nurses who agreed to take part in the study between 15-25 June 2021, using the snowball sampling method. We analyzed the data in the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) 23 program.\nResults: 69.2% of the nurses did not take a course on elder abuse, 99.2% received training on elder care nursing in undergraduate education, 99.2% knew the concept of elder abuse, 92.3% faced elder abuse, and 61.5% did not report the abuse that they witnessed. The rate of reporting elder abuse was 2.69 times higher in older nurses, 6.71 times higher in those who believe that nurses could be protected adequately in case of problems that might arise, and 4.21 times higher in those with a high level of knowledge about the elder abuse law.\nConclusion: In line with the findings, Turkish nurses had sufficient knowledge about elder abuse and neglect, but their incident reports were inadequate.\nImplications for nursing management: Nurses should create algorithms to apply in cases of elder abuse and neglect. In addition, a nursing care plan focused on preventing abuse and neglect should be developed, implemented, and evaluated.

Purpose: review the background of and main historical milestones in disaster research, as well as the spectrum and current use of epidemiological methods and the difficulties and future challenges of the research in this field.\nMethods: this study was based on a selective review of relevant bibliographic items and specific non-bibliographic events, which have determined in any respect the historical evolution of disaster research, as well as the current conceptual framework within which this research was conducted.\nNew results: today, epidemiological methods have become powerful tools widely used in general research and have also progressively been incorporated into the field of disaster research. Specific research methods are currently used with a wide variety of purposes, including the identification and characterization of populations exposed or at risk of disaster; the design of the exposure model for specific types of disasters; in estimating the incidence and prevalence of types of disaster and in quantifying their impacts.\nConclusions: important challenges in disaster research are still unresolved, including the design of a common conceptual framework that would allow for multidisciplinary research on disasters, the development of specific methods for investigating complex emergencies or disasters related to climate change; the development of a specific approach for investigating slow-onset disasters and their social, political and cultural factors, and research to develop feasible and cost-efficient prevention and response strategies. Addressing these challenges will depend mainly on the extent of improvement in the research capabilities of managers and heads of organizations and field personnel working in disasters.

Temperature and precipitation are serious environmental variables that initiative catastrophic climatic events. These variables continue to alter, thus constructing even more extreme climate events across different parts of Northern Iran. In the presence of moisture, the intensity of heavy rainfall increases with increasing temperature. Therefore, studying the trend and the relationship between precipitation and temperature is useful for different areas of trade, agriculture and ecological analysis field. In this study quantile regression methods were used in order to find the effect of temperature variables on different amounts of precipitation (1984-2019), in Mazandaran province, northern region of Iran. The results show that heavy rainfall increased at a high percentage in February and April and decreased in May, June and September. However, all values of minimum and maximum temperature increased significantly. Also, the positive and negative effects of temperature variables were higher in the upper quantiles of precipitation, so that the most negative effect of the minimum temperature was in the northwestern regions and in the warm and cold months of the year, but the most positive effect was observed in the north of the province. In contrast, the highest negative effect of maximum temperature on heavy rainfall was in the northern regions and the most positive effect was in the northwestern regions. In general, it can be concluded that high temperatures do not always have a positive role on precipitation but varies depending on spatial and temporal situations.

The increasing worldwide automobile production and usage adversely impact the environmental, economic, and social well-being. Although the automobile companies are trying to solve this problem by adopting corporate sustainability, there is a gap in the extant literature on corporate sustainable practices that are the most important to empower better sustainability performance. This study highlights the core Corporate Sustainable Practices (CSP) attributes that corporates need to give attention to during their strategic planning and daily business operations. This study aims to identify valid and reliable CSP attributes in qualitative information, evaluate causal interrelationship among attributes under uncertainties, and determine the criteria for practical improvements. The study proposed six aspects and 73 criteria from the literature review. Fuzzy set theory is used to eliminate the fuzziness in the expert\'s judgment, and the fuzzy Delphi Method is applied to validate CSP criteria. The study employed the Fuzzy decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) to determine the attributes\' interrelationship. The findings show that 39 criteria are valid out of the initial 73 criteria. The most influential aspects were government initiatives, social attributes, technology usage, innovation, and organizational structure. In practice, the most influential criteria are security assurance, auditing, sponsoring sporting or recreational projects and gifts, support for the arts and culture, social sustainability-related awards, internal control mechanism, environmental management system and product environmental impacts. Finally, the theoretical and managerial implications of this study are discussed.

For a few years, augmented reality has been increasingly used as a therapeutic tool in psychiatry. In particular, augmented reality exposure therapy (ARET) has been developed from and proposed as an alternative to standard cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for the treatment of phobic disorders. Using real-time 3D model and visual displays, the child is immersed in different computer-generated virtual environments specifically designed for different types of phobia. As imaginative or in vivo exposure therapy, ARET consists in a gradual presentation of phobic stimuli. The desensitization through ARET has been found to be efficient in different types of anxiety disorder, and in particular in phobic disorders. Moreover, it presents most of the advantages of both in vivo and imaginative exposure therapies without most of the inconveniences. Indeed, ARET can be tailored to individual progression\nThe endeavor of this work is to examine researches done in the field of augmented reality applied to children With Disorders. Thus, we will try to verify whether the use of these techniques makes useful or not an intervention in the case of children with disorder. The work presented in this paper aims at a reflection on the introduction of the use of augmented reality in the treatment of these children by means of current researches. We will also observe, throughout this work, the involvement of NICTs such as augmented reality in changing the activities made with these tools on the didactic and methodological level. These analyzes will allow us to answer the following research problematic:\nHow to overcome contamination phobia facing an indeterminate end of pandemic. Application of augmented reality to help children with disorders?\nThe objective of this work is to apply the augmented reality for the children with Disorders. To understand the way the use of this technology with these children improves the psychological sides.

New derivative-based one-point semi-open Newton-Cotes quadrature rule are proposed involving the combination of function and its first-order derivative at equally spaced intervals. The accuracy and the degree of precision of the new methods are greater than the classical semi-open Newton-Cotes rules. The proposed methods are compared in terms of order of accuracy, error terms, and coefficient of error terms, observed order of accuracy, computational cost and average CPU usage time, for different integrals in the form of numerical tests.\nThe results show that the devised techniques are superior to the conventional semi-open methods for lesser number of nodes and less computational cost and C.P.U time with greater order of accuracy.

Nanofluids became an essential solution for the improvement of efficient heat transfer fluids.Thus, it\'s necessary to optimize their propreties. This paper investigates the effect of the temperature and the volume fraction on the thermo-physical properties of different nanofluids (Mono and hybrid) such as: Density, thermal conductivity, dynamic viscosity, kinematic viscosity, heat capacity and enthalpy in various nanoparticule concentrations and operating temperature .Two nanoparticles Al2O3, CuO were added to three different conventional base fluids namely: Therminol VP-1; Sylthrem 800; Dowtherm A, with several volume fractions, and various temperatures (200-400°C). A numerical model was developped using MATLAB software, to evaluate the behavior of each thermo-physical property of the nanofluid that can be used as a working fluid in CSP applications and compared with their conventional fluids. The results show an improvement in thermo-physical properties compared to pure fluids for an optimal value of 4 % for Al2O3. Also, the increase in temperature plays an important role in the decrease in viscosity, and their influence on other properties has also been noticed while the addition of nanoparticles to the pure fluid allow to increase the thermal conductivity by 13 %. Finally, the (Al2O3+CuO/Dowtherm A) hybrid nanofluid sems to be attractive to use in CSP applications.

Corporate financial management is the catalyst for strengthening financial information about an organization and improving financial policies and strategies for the profitability of the enterprise. Improving the usefulness of financial data requires the understanding and application of mathematics of finance to enhance management decision making and implementation. This is imperative because often business decisions are ultimately subject to human error because they are future-oriented, and therefore, subject also, to the uncertainty of business life. Business decisions based on cash flows is of vital importance in capital investment appraisal because the real cost to the business is subject to the vagaries of uncertainty. This makes a good business case for the adoption of mathematical techniques in financial strategy and management. 150 enterprises were involved in this study conducted through the qualitative technique of the exploratory research design, which showed positive association between financial management and enterprise profitability. The study was not exhaustive due to acute shortage of current relevant literature. Therefore, further study could examine the need for superior entrepreneurial leadership in promoting enterprise profitability in Nigeria.

Fukuzawa Yukichi (1834–1901), who was titled as “Voltaire of Japan” by Japanese people, served as the spirit, driving force, and intellectual support of the restoration conducted by the Meiji government. Throughout his life, Fukuzawa articulated numerous influential ideas aimed at national development; among which, his view on citizens and the promotion of citizens’ role through education stands out, especially in the context of a society still deeply influenced by Confucian values. Fukuzawa asserted that citizens are the cornerstone of a nation's development. In his view, such development must begin with the improvement of public knowledge to foster a sense of self-reliance and social responsibility among individuals. Each citizen, he believed, must be fully aware of their role in building a progressive, democratic, and sustainable society. Fukuzawa’s thought on promoting the role of citizens remains not only historically significant to Japan but also profoundly relevant to developing countries today. This study is conducted based on the principles of objectivity, comprehensiveness, historical specificity, and development, while employing various methodologies - including textual analysis, analytical-synthetic method, hermeneutics, and phenomenology - to examine the key issues addressed in the topic.
